The recycling commandments

The three Rs are a set of principles for reducing environmental impact. These include reducing consumption, reusing objects, and recycling materials to minimize waste and conserve resources.

Reduce:
Consume less: Opt for products with less packaging and avoid unnecessary purchases.
Choose long-lasting products: Prioritize quality items that can be used longer.
Avoid waste: Plan your purchases and prepare lists to avoid overbuying.
Opt for sustainable alternatives: Use reusable cloth bags, refillable water bottles, etc.

Reuse:
Give a second life: Find new functions for objects that are no longer used, such as glass jars or cardboard boxes.
Repair rather than replace: Fix damaged products instead of throwing them away.
Exchange or donate: Giving objects that are no longer needed to other people or institutions.

Recycle:
Separate waste: Sort recyclable materials such as paper, glass, plastic, and metals into appropriate containers.
Clean containers: Make sure containers are clean before placing them in the bins.
Fold and flatten: Reduce the volume of packaging to save space in containers.
